Tetra Listening Instruments and Kenundrum Loudspeakers

Bang The Drum Promotions Inc. was showing the exciting and affordable Tetra Listening Instruments for the third consecutive year. Also, Bang the Drum introduced a new reference quality design in their Kenundrum Loudspeaker. From left to right is The Tetra Bullit/Resolver?sub combo comprised of a 3.5" sealed two?way sitting atop a 6.5" ported Resolver passive subwoofer (Resolver subs are sold separately for $1400 each and they are interchangeable with all speakers shown). This Bullit/Resolver combo retails for $3,750 US. Centered is the first offering from Kenundrum Loudspeakers dubbed "The Kid" (after Ken Moore, their excellent cabinet designer, and Bang The Drum, their crossover/marketing crew), and retails for $5,000 US dollars. Don't know why they named it the Kid because when I
entered this fine sounding exhibit room, all parties behaved like adults, drank responsibly and there wasn't anything remotely sophomoric about this well setup system.

All products are manufactured north of the border in Canada in what president Adrian Butts' proudly refers to as their 3,500 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. Still registering only a slight blip on the U.S. audio radar scene, TLI and Kenundrum loudspeakers don't have many dealers at this time. However, those few dealers they have are loyal and sing high praise. Further, the sound coming from their room via Bel Canto Design electronics was amazing for such affordably priced high?end gear. Stay tuned for an upcoming review right here in these pages.
